RISE Program

The Colón Lab has been home to the RISE (Research Internship for Community College Student Enrichment) Program since 2013. This outreach program allows graduates from Troy High School to gain research experience at RPI while attending a nearby community college. RISE students are mentored by graduate students and postdocs in the Colón Lab to learn chemistry techniques, run experiments that advance the research goals of the lab, and communicate their scientific findings.
